MagIndustries Corp., a development stage company, engages in the operation and development of industrial projects in the Republic of Congo (ROC) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It owns rights in the Kouilou Potash project located in the Kouilou province of the ROC. The company focuses on the construction and commissioning of a first phase 600,000 tonne per year module of a 1.2 million tonne per year potash plant on the property to produce primarily agricultural-grade potash fertilizers for South American, South African, and European markets. It also has rights to manage a 68,000 hectare eucalyptus forestry plantation, and a 500,000 tonne per year wood chip plant located in the port of Pointe-Noire. The company was formerly known as Magnesium Alloy Corporation and changed its name to MagIndustries Corp. in January 2005. MagIndustries is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. As of July 22, 2011, MagIndustries Corp. operates as a subsidiary of Evergreen Industries Holding Group Co., Ltd.
